An interesting thing happens during a blog hop such as this one: a sense of harmony and peace manifests itself over the community. No matter what someone else is writing, we tend to pay attention to it, because that's what we do: we read and comment on blogs. When we finish, we think of how great it was to have seen so many people that we only seem to run across during the challenge.
This year, how about resolving to stay in touch with those bloggers during the year, from May to next March, and keep that harmony going? A good way to do that is to participate in the A to Z Road Trip that starts in May and finishes, well, whenever. The point is, this is a good time to meet new people and learn some new things. Make a friend! That's what makes the A to Z community so harmonious.
Our team theme this year is our blogging community, gratitude, or being grateful for our blogging
community.
In a world filled with unspeakable things, horrors you wouldn’t
wish on your worst enemy, unimaginable deeds, and random acts of rudeness, it
is sometimes difficult to feel grateful for anything. Some days it feels like
an act of heroism just to get out of bed.
Keeping a gratitude journal, or just taking a moment to be
grateful for that beautiful sunrise, is the way to keep sane. Worrying about the
actions of others won’t change anything – except deteriorate our mental health.
Being grateful for what we have, the people we have in our lives, can make a
world of difference for our wellbeing.
So stop doomscrolling and start thanking the people who make
your life brighter.
What are you grateful
for today?
