Unique #AtoZChallenge2025

Our team theme this year is our blogging community, gratitude, or being grateful for our blogging community.

Today, we are grateful for things that make us unique. What are the things in your blogging career, in your writing, in your interests, that are unique to you? What are the unique things you are grateful for in your life - things that make it more interesting, more engaging, more curious? There is strength in community, and strength in shared interest. But there is also strength in everyone bringing something new to the table.

What is your unique thing? How did you find it, or how did it find you?

  1. That is a tricky one to answer, I guess my whole A to Z this year Is the answer - writing a blog is a particular kind of writing - part story telling, part illustration (pictures do help to break up daunting lengths of text) and part letting yourself speak as yourself. I like to think of Alistair Cooke as the Godfather of blogging because he wrote his Letters from America, mixing all those ingredients masterfully, before recording them for broadcast, and if he was alive today he would undoubtedly be one of the world's leading bloggers...

  2. We are all unique. One of my interests is making lists. My whole A to Z this year developed from a list I had already made (and intend to continue to update) on a page on my blog. Today's post only has one item in the list! https://suestrifles.wordpress.com/2025/04/24/authors-beginning-with-u-atozchallenge/

  3. Psalm 139:14 says I am fearfully and wonderfully made... that's what makes me and everything I do unique. Today I cheated and used an old post because I one of our close friends passed the night before due to cancer and news of another just diagnosed with it. I'm so over this cancer taking over our friends lives! We need rainbows and sunshine and Unicorns
    Cheers,

  4. This challenge helps us get a glimpse of others' obsessions. One definitely needs to have a keen interest in a subject to keep blogging about it through the alphabet in the space of one month! Take my niche, fancy footwear: https://repeatsamb.blogspot.com/2025/04/a-to-z-blogging-challenge-2025-u-is-for.html
