With the A to Z Challenge, there are two times to get yourself ready. The obvious one is before it starts. The less obvious one is after it ends. Now is the time to get ready for May 1, the day after it ends.
What am I talking about?
- For one thing, you'll want to figure out which new blogs you're going to follow and set them up in your feed reader, or subscribe to their blog by email.
- You'll also want to start planning your Reflections post: How you did with your posts, how you did reading other posts, how well you handled comments, and one or two outstanding blogs you read during the Challenge.
- And, you might want to give some thought to the blogs you didn't have a chance to read, which might lead you to consider the A to Z Road Trip. Details on that to follow.

There are indeed a lot of things to do come May 1st. I am not exactly pantsing it, but I still have five posts yet to write, so I haven't spent as much time visiting other sites as I might if I had finished all posts ahead of April 1st. So yes, I will be visiting, commenting and writing about what I find and hopefully there are others in the same position who have yet to find my offerings - but for today...

Yes, John. Most of my posts were ready before April began. I am already drafting my reflections post. I had hoped that I'd have time to work on other writing projects in April, but so far other activities have had to be prioritised.
