Unique #AtoZChallenge2025

Our team theme this year is our blogging community, gratitude, or being grateful for our blogging community.

Today, we are grateful for things that make us unique. What are the things in your blogging career, in your writing, in your interests, that are unique to you? What are the unique things you are grateful for in your life - things that make it more interesting, more engaging, more curious? There is strength in community, and strength in shared interest. But there is also strength in everyone bringing something new to the table.

What is your unique thing? How did you find it, or how did it find you?

Treating others as they'd like to be treated #AtoZChallenge 2025

#AtoZChallenge 2025 letter T #AtoZChallenge 2025

"Treating others as they'd like to be treated" (Sleeping In - Song by The Postal Service)

Have you been treating your fellow AtoZChallenge bloggers as you'd like to be treated? Have you commented, shared, and liked posts? Have you respected the time they carved out to participate in this blog hop?

Do you feel as though others have reciprocated? Are you being treated as you'd like on your blog? Has the A to Z team supported you and this community well enough this year?

I'm grateful to everyone who is taking part. I'm grateful this hop exists and creates opportunities for online social engagement. I volunteer my time as A to Z team captain because I genuinely care.

"If you make somebody else's day or world better, bring them joy, even if it's only a flicker, that's somethin'."

S is for Sensational

I am so grateful for the sensational blogs that have taken part in our humble blog challenge! It is lovely to learn so much and to see folks who are so devoted to their writing. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing people who are excited about something. So many of the blogs here are sensational, and I am grateful for everyone who has shared a piece of themselves with us!

What is the favorite blog post you've read this month that wasn't your own!?

R for Ready!

#AtoZChallenge 2025 letter R #AtoZChallenge 2025

With the A to Z Challenge, there are two times to get yourself ready. The obvious one is before it starts. The less obvious one is after it ends. Now is the time to get ready for May 1, the day after it ends.

What am I talking about?

  • For one thing, you'll want to figure out which new blogs you're going to follow and set them up in your feed reader, or subscribe to their blog by email.
  • You'll also want to start planning your Reflections post: How you did with your posts, how you did reading other posts, how well you handled comments, and one or two outstanding blogs you read during the Challenge.
  • And, you might want to give some thought to the blogs you didn't have a chance to read, which might lead you to consider the A to Z Road Trip. Details on that to follow.

Enjoy the rest of the Challenge!

Q for Quality

#AtoZChallenge 2025 letter Q #AtoZChallenge 2025

One thing I've noticed, not just this year but in years past, is the quality of the posts for this blog hop. Maybe because everyone wants to impress the others, maybe because participants spend a lot of time before April 1 preparing their posts for the month, maybe it's the work people put into developing their themes, or maybe it's just because this is one heck of a fun blog hop. I've often said that the A to Z Challenge is the highlight of my blogging year, not just because of what I write, but because of what I read. This year has been another great year for that reason.

I don't know about you, but I'm already looking forward to next year. And you're the reason. Thank you!

Perfection #AtoZChallenge2025

Our team theme this year is our blogging community, gratitude, or being grateful for our blogging community.

In the online world, there is immense pressure on everyone to be perfect. To be the best, the most visible, the most engaging, the most liked. With more and more social media platforms competing for attention, it often feels impossible to stand out in a crowd, to create and share something we are passionate about without feeling inadequate, unheard. Challenges like A to Z are not only challenges - they are also a chance to have a community that pays attention. Visits, comments, and says I am curious about what you have to say, I am here, I hear you.

Today's letter is a reminder that perfection is not what will make you worthy of attention. And feeling like you are drowned out doesn't mean what you do is not important. Perfection is pressure. Find your people, and your community will help you accept the imperfections!

Obligation #AtoZChallenge2025

Our team theme this year is our blogging community, gratitude, or being grateful for our blogging community.

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by what I need to do in a day. Sometimes it would be easier to just stop blogging altogether. But I feel this sense of obligation to those who read my posts – especially those who engage with it. This isn’t a bad thing: I need that sense of knowing what I write is being read and enjoyed by others to keep me on track.

So thanks to everyone who has stopped by my blog this month and read (and commented on!) my posts.

What keeps you blogging when energy/time/motivation is lagging?

N for Neighborhood Blogging Community #AtoZChallenge 2025

#AtoZChallenge 2025 letter N #AtoZChallenge 2025

What is a neighbor Neighbor definitions
Define community thiving community
A community is a social group of people who share a common interest, characteristic, or goal. Neighboorhood communities help people find lasting personal connections

A Google search shows that a neighbor can be anyone with whom you have the opportunity to interact. Communities are where diverse groups come together over common interests or goals. Neighborhood communities help people to find lasting connections.

The #AtoZChallenge 2025 is about more than just using the English alphabet to inspire twenty-six blog posts in April. It's a blog hop. Part of the challenge is about our Neighborhood Blogging Community

Our common interest is blogging. Our common goal is to take part in the #AtoZChallenge.

By actively engaging with each other, we create an opportunity to form strong social connections. Meaningful social ties are formed when we support our fellow A to Z Challenge bloggers by leaving positive comments, sharing our favorite posts, and championing each other to succeed.

  • What helps you to feel like a successful blogger?
  • In what ways do you support other bloggers to help them reach their goals?
