Appreciation #AtoZChallenge2025

Our team theme this year is our blogging community, gratitude, or being grateful for our blogging community.

As another year of the A-Z Blogging Challenge kicks off, I have a deep appreciation of what this community and challenge has brought to my online life. The first year I did this challenge (2016), I had only been blogging for a couple of months and needed inspiration about what to blog about and the encouragement to keep at it – I found both in this blogging community.

Over the years, my blogging style has changed, what I blog about has changed, I’ve even moved from a free site to my own website – but what hasn’t changed is the support the month of April brings. I’ve found many of my online friends through this challenge and I greatly appreciate them.

What has this challenge and community brought you?

So excited to be back for another A to Z Challenge. My first A to Z Challenge was about child abuse and sexual abuse 9 years ago when I learned about the Fritzl case. And now for this year I am promoting my debut novel which is in part inspired by that horrific story. :) Joy @ www.thejoyousliving.com

Great to be back at the A-Z! This is my 12th year :) To me, A-Z means community catching up and the rigorous discipline of blogging. It's also a chance to step away from what I usually blog about (poetry) and tackle a completely different topic.
All the very best to all participants!

Excited to be back for another A-Z challenge. I'm grateful to the various bloggers and readers who encouraged me to write more. After doing poems and short snippets for years, this time, I'm posting a novella as a series. My first-ever full-length retelling of a Hindu epic.

I completely agree with you, Ronel. This is the one month when bloggers come together to support each other and it's like a big old family reunion. I'm not sure if I would keep blogging without this platform to inspire me each year. This year's theme is Empathy. Armageddon Accountability
Enjoy.

I appreciate all of you for keeping the A2Z going. It has brought me a wide range of followers, some who are still regulars, some who drop by occasionally, to my blog or my guinea pigs’ (who have possibly done more Aprils than I have). And I’ll echo Crackerberries thoughts too.
Have a lovely April 😀

Yes! Appreciate the discipline of the challenge! What started as a shoe diary by a fake me (2017) has turned into a nice little side business. https://repeatsamb.blogspot.com/2025/04/a-to-z-blogging-challenge-2025-is-for.html

I appreciate being given the chance to "play" as it stretches my writing "skills" and, much more importantly, gives me a chance to "meet" so many new people.
NOTE: I think I've bested my personal record for the number of apostrophes I've used in a single sentence.

I really enjoy how the A to Z Challenge combined with Poetry Month revs up my creative energy in spring. I'm grateful for this yearly event bringing this community together. Here's the link to my first post: https://experiencewriting.com/2025/04/01/abstract-and-concrete-thinking/. I look forward to your comments.

Definitely grateful for the team that keeps this challenge not only going but fresh each year. I've been here since 2015 and although I find it daunting at times I've somehow managed to make it through each year.

My 10th year of the challenge, Five years with my food blog culinarydelites.wordpress.com and five years with my tech blog deeptechwriter.wordpress.com. Running behind the schedule as life keeps happening. But gearing up for a start. All the best to all the bloggers.
