ACCOMPLISHING YOUR DREAMS, AND THE DUALITY OF 22
We are at the middle of the April Challenge, but there is more to come! We hope you have hung in there and please keep hanging on. If you've gotten this far you might as well keep going forward.
Are you still visiting and commenting on other blogs? It's a fact that the more you circulate amongst the blogs and leave your presence to be known, the more visits you will likely receive on your own blog. Do you feel like you've been ignored? Increase your commenting and that feeling should be remedied. To be known you need to make yourself known. Your increased visibility in the blogging community will likely mean others will want to see what you are doing.
Sure, you're probably a busy person, but so are most of us. To do this Challenge right you should set aside at least fifteen or twenty minutes a day visiting other blogs and leaving comments. The more visits you make and comments you leave, the greater the odds that you are going to get more visitors.
We can't stress this enough and it's really kind of a matter of common sense. It's pretty much how life works
Now let's keep moving forward, onward, to the letter Z. We're halfway there!
How do you make time to visit other blogs? What is your best strategy for luring visitors to your own blog? Have you been keeping up okay so far?

ReplyDelete"Are you still visiting and commenting on other blogs? It's a fact that the more you circulate amongst the blogs and leave your presence to be known, the more visits you will likely receive on your own blog." - in a 24 hour period two days ago I commented on over 140 blogs and have had 15 reciprocal comments.
ReplyDeleteI also noticed it seems to be a small handful of the same people doing most of the commenting.
It's a little disappointing.
You practise what you preach regarding commenting, Arlee! My post has a connection with today being Good Friday. https://suestrifles.wordpress.com/2022/04/15/mary-the-magi-and-myrrh-atozchallenge/
ReplyDeleteThere's just 24 hours, not more

I am managing to reply to every comment and visit back but struggling to work through the list and visit brand new blogs - especially now I am pantsing it...

HAPPY TGIF everyone and also HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND. I kind of agree with what Dino said earlier "a small handful of the same people doing most of the commenting." He spent all that time going to 140 blogs and only got 15 back... [holding my head in shame] I am guilty of not returning his comment. I truly plan to do better. But when you say to take 15-20 minutes per day to read and comment, some posts take me 15-20 minutes to read and thoroughly put effort into my comment. I think if you keep your posts short and sweet people will take the time to read and make meaningful comments...not just the standard "Visiting from A2Z, really enjoyed your post about [enter title here]" if you get what I mean. Any hoot, I'm practicing what I preach today with MEOWS
ReplyDeleteCheers,

ReplyDeleteToo bad not everyone visits back when one leaves a comment on their blog with a link...

I am a little behind on my blog reading and only slightly ahead on my posting. My interaction this year has been much higher so that is rather nice. Now if I can just get people to look at my book! ;)
ReplyDeleteHalfway there people!

Still moving along. Been commenting, but not always getting the commenting love. I'm sure once people have more time and aren't trying to write and visit at the same time, they will go back. Looking forward to more.

Guilty of not visiting new folks except on the weekends but I've got a real job to do too. Agree that 15 to 20 minutes does not allow for some folks whose posts are quite lengthy. Appreciate all the visits I get and definitely reply to all comments. I even check the spam/trash daily just in case the new folks get stuck there. Happy Friday everyone.

Arlee thanks for always cheering us forward. I wish I could visit more but one thing I always do is comment.
