#AtoZChallenge Better Book Discovery

#AtoZChallenge 2022 tribute badge #AtoZChallenge 2022 Blogging from A to Z Challenge letter

The team's theme of the April Blogging from A to Z Challenge this year is:
ACCOMPLISHING YOUR DREAMS, AND THE DUALITY OF 22

It's letter "B "day on the A to Z Challenge blog. It is said that the second day of any challenge is the hardest. Motivation is pelted with realizations of the commitment needed to succeed. Scheduling and prioritizing become tangible instead of theoretical (inked-in instead of penciled-in 🖋🖉).

Banish the voices that say you can't do this. Hundreds of bloggers JUST LIKE YOU have completed the challenge successfully for over a decade. Don't bow out!

What benefit can come from completing the challenge? Building a better blogging community, for one.
And if you're using your blog to write a book, you might publish it one day!

That's a list of books that exist right now because of this blogging challenge. How many of them have you read?

Shepherd.com has many book lists with various topics and themes. Over 40,000 people visit the site every month. And now our A to Z Challenge is there with a list of books that were written by bloggers like you who completed the A to Z Challenge in the past. A big thanks to Ben Fox for making this possible.

When you're looking for a website with better book discovery tools, check out Shepherd.com
Authors recommend books and market their own for free on this site. Reach out with a theme idea for a list of five books that go along with a book of your own. 📚

Have you ever published a book you wrote during and because of the A to Z Challenge?

  2. Yes!

I have done my A to Z of various monsters, vampires, demons and witches over the years and a lot of the content from those posts have gone into my books.

  5. Last year my aim was to complete a book I was writing, and although I fell short, it gave me enough momentum that I did get it finished and it is now out with friends and family for comment. Anybody who followed "Train Wreck" last year and would like a pdf to comment on - please let me know!
My crisis of commitment will come when I have caught up with my pre-written posts and transform, butterfly-like, into a pantser... But I have made it through twice sooo...

  6. Congratulations to all those bloggers who have become authors!
I tried to convert my posts from 2020 into a book, but didn't think it worked well enough. I am working on another book at present, but I'd like to publish some of my blog posts in book form later.

  8. Ooh yea, my first novella, Coexist, was first drafted as an A to Z blog series! (Then, of course, I rewrote the whole thing lol)

  9. Good morning! This is an outstanding post for B. I wish everyone luck who is trying to make their dream come true. I was in the middle of writing my first book when I first participated in the A-Z challenge in 2014. I did not complete that first challenge but I did publish the book. ☺ You can do it ... today's offering will tell you to Be All You Can Be. So go for it. Don't give up. Persevere!

  10. Always inspired by the A to Z challenge and it's writers -Which has given me fuel for books we have published.
Wishing each of you an awesome month of A to Zing!

My A to Z story (pulled from archives) was birthed at The Passage hotel in 2007 in Odessa, Ukraine. I changed the time period to the present. I hope you feel the courage and tenacity of the Ukrainian people as this fiction unfolds.

  14. Hello J, Biggles here.
I know Mummy's read some of your books made from the A to Z Challenge. I wonder if she could find five other guinea pig or at least animal books to go with your list?
We're doing our Favourite Things on GeorgesGPWorld this year :)
I don't think any books are on our list :(

  21. Although I'm late to read this, since we're on L today, it really spoke to me especially, 'Motivation is pelted with realizations of the commitment needed to succeed.'
    I don't feel that at L and M.
