GAMES
(For those of you taking part in the scavenger hunt, today is easy! This post is about a game!)
What games can be played on a blog? Here are some ideas:
Pictionary -- https://randomwordgenerator.com/pictionary.php or https://www.drawize.com/ (contains ads)
Instead of leaving the drawing on the site, I could take a screenshot and put it on my blog for readers to take a guess. (Print Screen button [Prt Sc], paste into paint, crop, save, upload the image to your blog.)
Truth or Dare -https://psycatgames.com/app/truth-or-dare/
You could make a post asking readers to comment with various Truths and Dares, and then tackle them as you see fit. Or you could let a website pick for you.
Honestly, 🐛🐜🐝🐞 bugs don't bug me. I can't say I have a special affinity for them. But overall, they're just part of nature. I don't enjoy being stung or bit, and certainly am not a fan of mosquitoes. But overall, I don't especially like or dislike bugs in general. I am glad they exist and serve their function.

There sure are some strange games in life at present, but I like to play the wonderful games of being kind and happy towards others.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoy the game "A to Z Challenge".
Loved your post.
Yvonne.
I like playing games away from the screen. My favourites are Rummikub, Triominoes, Scrabble and Upwords. They are all good for logical, numerical and verbal skills.

I always loved the book "Games People Play" - an early popular psychology offering. Things that lie behind interactions with other people, domination, kindness, information, dissembling - all such human traits and I am sure they can be found in our world of blogging...

Great idea, Games on a blog. I will contemplate that. I love how you helped me easily with my scavenger hunt. That was fun. I'm over at my blog doing some Gardening if you'd like to help me pull some weeds. Hope everyone has a marvelous day.
ReplyDeleteCheers,

I suppose when I participate twice a month with my Battle of the Bands, that sort of counts as a game. I'm asking others to vote on their favorite cover artist where someone usually comes out on top. As for the scavenger hunt, I think the only letter so far that I managed to match up is the first day. It's not going too well for me. :)
ReplyDeleteWhenever it's convenient, I hope y'all will stop in today for a peek at my Looney Tunes' Granny art sketch. Happy A2Zing!!
I don't think I've ever ran a game on my blog... but I definitely will soon!
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, let me introduce Godsend to your D&D campaign:

I've never thought to add a game to a blog post but love the idea. Maybe a word jumble? My Dad use to love doing those! Weekends In Maine
ReplyDeleteI avoid Screen Games like the plague, especially those Facebook ones for which "friends" keep sending me invites.

Oh man! And here I was hoping to be somebody's G on the scavenger hunt! I did Game VS Ad on my JEN's Lexical Creations blog. I'm still hunting for cobwebs and evil for my own list.

Games we play and people play with us, isn't life about that only.
ReplyDeleteBut nice to know games that can be played on the blog.

What you wrote about bugs reminds me of my son and his explanation about bugs and other living things usually people say they hate.. I am so grateful to have that wise man as my son.
