So I'm actually writing this in Mid-March. I've just painted my toenails and it is taking a reMarkable amount of energy to not wiggle them around (who knew I had fidgety feet while writing?? Try holding your feet perfectly still the next time you write - it's hard!).
One of the beauties of blogging is that you can pre-write posts, get them scheduled, and instead spend your time coMMenting and visiting other folks. It is the Middle of the Challenge and this is about where we start to see folks lose Momentum - comments slow down, people who didn't pre-write start to Miss letters, we all start to drag a little.
So this is my Mid-Challenge pep talk!
You, intrepid blogger, have totally GOT THIS. No Mid-April slump for you - no! You will Masterfully, Mindfully, and Maybe Maniacally (Mwahahahah...) Make it through this Mayhem.
You're gonna Make it!

I notice that my mid-week posts don't get as many comments as the weekend/beginning of the week posts. Girl Who Reads

Isn’t this the point of no return? I’m one of those flying by the seat of my pants. This is my fifth time and I’ve managed to hang in for each one. I hope I can keep up my record!
ReplyDeleteI had to prepare some posts in advance for my second challenge as I was away without internet access for part of April. This time I had almost all my posts ready and scheduled before the challenge began. @suesconsideredt from Sue’s Trifles

Halfway? Really? I've had my nose to the keyboard, so I didn't notice! Thanks for the pep talk, though. Now I know I can make to the end.
ReplyDeleteHalfway! Yay.

Robin Williams....fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks I needed that. I intended to write all posts in March, but life got in the way. I'm up to T, and running as fast as I can to catch up since that life issue is again looming. Need to get to Z by Sunday afternoon.

Halfway mark already? Time flies when having fun. Love Mork!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was a much needed boost! Let's see this through! :)
ReplyDeleteRobin Williams was definitely one of the greats!!! I feel so sad when I think of him now though. He dealt with so much with that disease that he had, but yet made everyone happy around him. God bless that man!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Almost missed a post, but I burned the midnight oil to make it happen, and have had all my posts scheduled ahead of time so far. I'm hoping I can get a few days ahead over the weekend, though. :)
ReplyDeleteWriting and scheduling posts well in advance is the key! I felt I were cutting it way too close when I waited till March to begin writing and researching the posts for my secondary blog this year, but I had them all done by the end of March. Writing posts well in advance also allows ample time for going back through them several times for editing and tweaking.
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to be added back to the list?
ReplyDeleteMy blog was removed unnecessarily =/
I didn't even think about pre-writing since this is my first time. For the most part I just try to write a little each day, although I did start to write the last few ahead of time and schedule them to post on the right morning. I am actually looking forward to finishing up the month.

Very apt post. I started well with posts prepared and scheduled now I'm back to day by day. Hoping to get ahead again today (Sunday)
ReplyDeleteI'm certainly having a great time so far! It helps that I wrote all of the entries last month. Now I just have to re-read, polish, and post to social media. I don't think I could have made it through any other way. Thank you for hosting the challenge!
