In keeping with Heather's post
about the 2016 Blogging From A-Z Challenge, I'm beginning to turn over ideas in
my mind as to what I want to write about for next year's event. I haven't
settled on what I want to do yet, but you can be sure I'll be putting more
thought into it as I want to do something unique (as do we all, right?).
Over the years, a few enterprising and industrious
writers have compiled their April posts and published same, mostly in fiction
format. Now, it that's not being creative, I don't know what is.
I've had ambitions of doing the same for years, but haven't done anything
about those posts. Most of the material relates to writing and would help
others in some way, but as they say, 'the road to hell is paved with good
intentions'. I still haven't removed the material from my blog, but I do have
them in individual files.
Do you have anything special you're turning over in your
mind? If so, have you started plotting yet? I don't know about you, but I've
got my thinking cap on.
Have fun planning when you get there!
Putting all that advice you shared into a book format is a great idea! Just think how many people you can help out?!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll be able to do the A-Z this year for the same reason I couldn't last year. I do taxes and that's my busiest time. It wouldn't be fair to those participating if I had to limit how many people I visited. Boo! Hiss! :)
I totally understand, Elsie. And yes, I do need to get on those projects.
DeleteWhat a great idea? loved the post am still undecided about next year's theme.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Hope you find your theme soon!
DeleteNo ideas yet. They usually hit come January though.
ReplyDeleteYou always get your stuff done early. Ever in awe of you, Alex!
DeleteSome people are really creative with their A to Z posts and I see how they could make them into publications. I'm thinking and thinking.....

Not settled on one yet either. Good thing we still have time.
DeleteHi Joy -I've decided next year's A - Z theme ... they change my thinking ... and again I learn and yes I expect to publish ... there are some great ideas ... and I meet wonderful new friends - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteGood on you, HIlary. You do take us to some fascinating places.
DeleteLast years A to Z theme was a huge amount of work and visitor numbers were very low so I might give it a miss this year and go off and do something a bit alternative.
ReplyDeleteRob Z Tobor
Sorry to hear that, Rob. Hope you stay with us.
Deletehi - have my theme for next year - just letting the ideas gather now and wrok out which letter goes with which blog - think I'm ahead but know from past experience will be a rush come April!!! am in process of editing previous A-Zs for book format
ReplyDeleteall the best with yours:)
Well done, Alberta! You're further along in the process than I am. I hope to avoid the rush this time around.
DeleteI've kinda been considering doing the A-Z Challenge. Might have to look into it more. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you decide to jump in, Robert.
DeleteThis will be my first A-Z challenge, and I think I will use the theme I had devised for last year... but which I was not able to implement as I thought of it halfway through the challenge and I was just launching the blog (http://bookschatter.blogspot.co.uk)!!! Touch wood, I will be able to do it this year, combining information about two of my favourite activities :-)
ReplyDelete2015 was my first challenge. I loved it and will be back in 2016. Not sure about theme but giving it much thought. I will probably also join in with my second blog which will mean that I will need to be more prepared to avoid the last minute rush-posting. Enjoyed reading this post. Thanks
ReplyDeleteJ.L., I have my theme and am working out the individual letters. I hope to have all A to Z letters by the end of this month. Never too early to plan ahead for A to Z!
ReplyDeleteI just want to write. No particular genre though I do enjoy songwriting a lot. I just want to enhance my skills. Learn from reading others and write more and more. Don't ever stop. Writing posts about writing us very helpful; especially to me.mthanks.
