The daily specials provided at this rest stop for the 2014 A-to-Z
Road Trip are aimed at helping you navigate this alphabet highway most
efficiently; to keep your tires, engine and gas tank in tip top shape. Any of
the new blogs we visit can be likened to roadside attractions, complete with fishing
lakes, hiking trails, historic parks, ancient monuments, carnival rides,
festive games and little souvenir shops offering novelties that visitors can
share with their friends.
So while each road tripper has his or her own map on
navigating the A-Z route, which stretches for miles, here are a few additional ways that
you can prevent getting lost in deserted towns where “keep out” signs, “out of
order” pay phone machines and an undefined substance dominate the atmosphere.
Random Reflections -
Try to visit all (or most) of the blogs located on the 2014 A-to-Z Challenge
Reflections list during your road trip escapades, if you haven’t done so
already.
Since many of the people who wrote reflections for the challenge, these bloggers are also likely to still be active,
displaying new blog posts for you to read and comment on.
Social Strategy -
Skip the 2014 A-to-Z Challenge Sign-Up List for a day and instead, visit participating
#atozchallenge blogs that have been active on Twitter.
How Many Blogs have
YOU visited as of this 3rd Week in May, during the 2014 A-to-Z Road

Have an awesome
Memorial Day weekend, everyone!

What I've been doing is checking out blogs from the sign-up list for the challenge itself, and a few from the Blogs with > 100 followers. Don't know how many I've visited.
Well I'm still active and have almost finished the second of my back to back A to Z's . . . . . A bit mad but I like the A to Z so why not.

Well, the fact is that I have been only to four or five blogs so far. Since my humble goal is to visit at least one new blog a week, I think I am doing well...
Thank you for your tips. Visiting a-to-zchallenge.com is always encouraging.

I don't know how many blogs I've visited this week. I would usually subscribe to the blogs I visited #a-to-z-ly in April, so most of my visits after have been from email notices of new posts.
Not sure how many I have visited. I'm back to checking out the reflections after a week's vacation, so I hope to get back to an active road trip through the list. I'm not a twitterer, so that one won't work for me. Enjoy checking the A to Z website to see who has been checking in.
I haven't counted blogs. I started my road trip by visiting the folks who visited Caneyhead...if they left me some way to return the love, like a comment. Found a couple more I wanted to follow, so that was neat. Next on my trip, I want to swing by and see all the hosts one more time. Happy Travels!
I've fallen behind, and been struggling to return comments. Tomorrow I go back home and properly online, so things should get better then.
I've not actually started the Road Trip list yet, but I'm about halfway through the list of Reflections posts. I think it's not too bad going considering most weeks I only get online for a few hours.
I think within the next couple of weeks I'll be moving on to the proper Road Trip list. In the meanwhile I've had a few visitors via the Road Trip and I've returned their visits and even added on as a new blog to follow. :-)
I'm still making my way through the Reflections. I plan to read all of those first, as they're a known link - no getting stuck in the mud or getting a flat tire that way. Have found some good ones I'll be featuring here on the A-Z Blog. After that, it's the Road Trip list, and then? The really open road. I figure I'll be in good shape by then, used to the bumps and side trips, and ready to tackle any unforeseen obstacles!
