So you're thinking that it's time to wind down with the blogging? April has been grueling for some of you. Some got stuck a ways back and linger on a letter from earlier in the alphabet. But you who endured are ready to hang it up and give it a rest...
Not so fast! The A to Z jig may be up but now it's up, up, and away with better blogging!
Do you feel like your blogging and writing has gotten better during the month of April? I hope so because that's partly what the Challenge is all about. Did your follower numbers go up? They should have if you were networking like you should have. Did your comments go up? Again it's a matter of networking in the proper way.
Bottom line is did you learn anything new in April? About yourself or about blogging? Or how about all of the great information presented in the participant posts? There was a real wealth of learning experience to be had on all accounts.
What's up next? How about the Reflections Post coming up on Monday May 5th. If you choose to participate in this event--and I encourage you to do so--on May 5th you can sign up your link to your post reflecting on your A to Z Challenge experience.
Tell us about how your April went. Offer your suggestions for making the next Challenge better or just let us know what's so great about the way it is now. You can link to your favorite posts on your own blog or those on other blogs. Tell us about blog discoveries you made during the Challenge. What you say is up to you. It's your Reflections Post.
Later you'll want to be watching this blog to hear about the A to Z Post Challenge Road Trip. The Blogging from A to Z Challenge doesn't have to end at the beginning of May. You can stay with the community for the rest of the year. Stay tuned to this blog for more information.
In fact you'll want to keep coming back to the A to Z Blog throughout the year for more updates, more useful blogging tips, and more fun. We will be accepting proposals for guest posts as well. See the contact page for information on how to reach us.
Don't feel down because the April Challenge is almost over. Keep looking up! There's still more to come.
Looking UP and almost there ... thanks Arlee. It's a trip for sure, exhausting and enlightening. But the end is in sight - though other roads to take afterwards in Reflection..

A to Z Team @ Blogging From A to Z April Challenge 2014
The challenge definitely has had its ups and downs for me, but I did grow as a blogger through the process and its helped me think about how I want my blog to proceed from here (I'm still a fairly new blogger). Great post today :)

Some of the topics have been fascinating and I have learned a lot.
ReplyDeleteThe variety of types of bloggers and their styles is what amazed me. But, I also noticed how basically similar we all are.
ReplyDeleteup, up, and away indeed. I've soared through April and enjoyed the variety of the alphabet.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely looking forward. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been having a lot of fun. It's given me the drive to blog more than once a week again. Although I don't know that I can do it daily =P

One of the things I enjoyed about the A-Z when I participated in the past was that it didn't end after April. I loved the continued community.
ReplyDeleteHaving not participated this year, it makes me that much more determined to get back on the horse and blog my little heart out!

We're almost there!!! Way to go everyone! Let's keep on going UP! :D
ReplyDeleteJust want to thank you and the other editors for all the work this Challenge takes--I know most of us realize the time you all have to spend making sure that everything works and reads smoothly.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying it, but I won't be too sad when April ends. I love the hot air balloons, by the way. My sisters have taken right in them, but not me. Got to keep my feet on the ground or keep my eyes closed forever. :-)

I scheduled about half of mine and enjoyed the challenge of writing on a one-day deadline, but next time i'll try to be more prepared. I wasted a lot of time searching for a topic (and my pictures) Also I had way too many weekend plans and I was sick for four days so that cut into my participation, to the point where some days i barely had enough time to post my own entry.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed my A to Z experience and I look forward to finishing the challenge. It has motivated me to tackle a major writing project through scheduled blogging.
I pre -planned all my posts and spent all my time visiting others. My followers number went up by around 10, I got more comments (a few) than last year. But it won't stop me from doing more A to Z blogging. I have found some that I will continue to follow throughout the year.
ReplyDeleteI think this has been great and very rewarding learning different things and finding new blogger friends and more are following me-wow:)
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed the experience, I am getting some followers, but haven't gotten to visit as many as I had wanted....I have had a full plate since the challenge began...mine is here

I LOVE those hot air balloons!!!
ReplyDeleteI've really enjoyed the Twitter chats this year and then blog-hopping like crazy to visit the people I met there. For some reason, that has really added to the camaraderie for me.

ReplyDeleteThis has been such a wonderful experience! I have made every day, with only Monday to Wednesday to go now.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you ran this, and that a friend of mine said she was doing it. I needed to develop some discipline in my writing and this has been just the thing.
My post for tomorrow is ready, and I only have one more to write.
Thanks again. :-)
