Featuring Food Blogs
What better time to celebrate food than than with the weekend coming up? Well, if you’re like me, you might want to celebrate food every day of the week. There are so many good things to eat, ways to make them and then add in the idea of growing your own food. It’s a done deal! You won’t be disappointed when you visit these fine food blogs!
Hungry Enough to Eat Six: It’s all about recipes sure to make your mouth water on this food blog. Easy organization, complete with recipe index and recipes by category will make finding what you’re looking for a breeze. Having browsed through quite a few of these recipes, and knowing my way around the kitchen a bit, I believe it’s safe to say, you won’t be disappointed.
Service from Heart: If you enjoy oriental food, you’re in for a treat with this blog. The recipes are detailed with lots of pictures; the presentation is delightful. Visitors are also treated to intriguing stories about Singapore and the surrounding region. Service from the Heart is truly a unique food blog, with lots of things to share and enjoy.
Growing Our Food: Enjoy the lessons brought to you from a food & garden blogger in South Africa when you visit this blog. If you’re interesting in self- sustained living, growing your own food is a great way to do it. You’ll learn about gardening, food preparation and preservation. Growing Our Food shares resources and lots of information to help you succeed in the garden. It doesn’t matter where you live, this blog provides valuable information for all.
Notes from the Tomato Lady: Who knew there were so many varieties of tomatoes out there? The plants are exquisite, the garden tips divine and the recipes sound positively delicious! It’s not just about tomatoes however. This blog also has recipes and tips about peppers and onions too. One of the things I like most about this particular blog is the organization. It’s so easy to find whatever you might be looking for here.
Jo on Food, My Travels and a Scent of Chocolate: My mouth practically waters every time I read the recipes Jo shares on her blog. Saturday is a designated recipe day over there, so get ready for some mouth watering food! Truth be told, Jo shares recipes on way more days than Saturday. Jo provides clear instructions, along with photos that will make you want to stop whatever you’re doing to whip up a batch of whatever she’s making. More than that, you get a bird’s eye view of Jo’s wild side, as she shares humorous anecdotes of her journey through life.
So there you have it. Betcha can’t wait to warm up your frying pan and start sizzling in the kitchen. Sounds like a plan to me!

Knew you had to have Jo in there. Katherine's Corner does recipes every week. I think she participated in the very first Challenge.
ReplyDeleteDear Team,
ReplyDeleteAll your work is so amazing I am even wondering if I am going to be up to the challenge.
You see, I find my theme and writings sort of odd for what I have come across so far and to be candid, it's been over a month and I am yet to have even a lone follower. It doesn't really worry me though since i see that I have had some hundreds of views and well that's life right? We are millions of bloggers and em, I will just keep writing and challenging myself until I become Known.
Oh, wait a second, Yes before you ask, I visit other blogs every now and then though my selection, interest and concentration span are very limited and restricted by choice.
well, that's the merry go of life.
Hi Marie,
DeleteKeep it up with visiting and commenting on folks' blogs! Right now we're still in the preliminary phase where people just visit whoever they can. Once April starts you'll see more feedback!

Hi Marie .. and A-Z hosts ... I went over to meet Marie .. and I couldn't/ didn't want to comment as she is using G+ ... it would be helpful if she could link to her blog and then we could easily visit and find out about her.
DeletePerhaps I don't know my way round G+ and there is a link in .. but I couldn't find it - on other blogs .. there's been a specific blogpost which links out of G+ to the blog ..
Anyway I hope someone can help her .. many thanks team!! Cheers Hilary
Always looking for new recipes!
ReplyDeleteVery flattering description MJ, thank you so much. I had no idea I had a wild side, although people have told my I have a sense of humour. I was very interested in hearing about other foodies and will certainly check them out.
ReplyDeleteI love food blogs! Especially those with healthy recipes. Oh, who am I kidding? I love blogs with not-so-healthy recipes too =)

Mmmmm... Yum! My mouth's watering already--and I'm not even a cooking fan :D I am, however, an amateur gardener (well, I'm an amateur many things), so Growing Our Food caught my attention right away. And who knows, with so many yummy recipes, I might discover there's a chef inside me after all :) Thanks for sharing these, MJ!

Great idea, MJ. I've been reading Jo forever, and have tried a lot of her recipes. I have a recipes folder, and inside there is my Jo folder. We have similar tastes in food. And yes, Jo, you have a wild side. You're real, all the time, and that's not something that can be said for a lot people. Just one of the many things I admire about you and your great blog. Not to mention that I snagged you as a minion. Bwahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to meeting the rest of you very interesting folks. I'm a Food Network addict and always eager to learn something new in the kitchen.
