Welcome to the 2014 A to Z Blogging Challenge!
Please read and follow the sign-up instructions outlined below so you sign onto the list correctly!
The brainchild of Arlee Bird, at Tossing it Out, the A to Z Challenge is posting every day in April except Sundays (we get those off for good behavior.) And since there are 26 days, that matches the 26 letters of the alphabet. On April 1, blog about something that begins with the letter “A.” April 2 is “B,” April 3 is “C,” and so on. You can use a theme for the month or go random – just as long as it matches the letter of the alphabet for the day.
We recommend short posts, turn off Word Verification, and visit five blogs (or more) a day beginning with the one after yours on the list.
To streamline legitimate blogs from advertisement blogs, the Co-Hosts will be visiting each blog on this list throughout the Challenge. Blogs on the list showing no activity once the Challenge starts will be removed.
There are categories for those looking for like-minded blogs. Select ONE category code and enter it after your blog’s title/name. The code applies to your blog, not your theme for the Challenge and is purely optional. However, if your blog has adult content, you MUST mark it (AC) or it will be removed from the list. Oh, and yes, isn't the badge amazing? Jeremy, one of the co-hosts and the digital guru who makes all our art and bling and runs this website, which is under constant update for 2014, so patience one and all. Still, the tabs above are a good place to start because some of the info is universal. Be sure to check out the "contact us" tab. I'm the info@ email girl, so you can either email me there, or at my personal address also on that list with any questions. One of my jobs is mentoring the new folks, so don't hesitate to ask. I will ask you one favor though: CHECK THE FAQ TAB before you email me. LOTS of common questions are answered there.

@Carrie-Anne: yes ma'am. As soon as possible. I made it my wallpaper as soon as it was available. Jeremy, as mentioned above, has the most to do right now, but a calendar is definitely coming. Just another reason to follow this blog! Then you'll know right away that its up.

I really like the collection of posts on a theme that resulted from my last try, in 2012. So I'm going to try to do the same with a new topic.

ack! I am so sorry, I promise I read the instructions, but forgot to enter that code after the Writing Catalog (which is obviously a writing blog).

I just signed up 1933. That is a good number. Perhaps, I will be blogging about that year. It would make a great nonfiction picture book. America was in turmoil. Hitler was appointed Chancellor. An exclusive (literally) golf club opened in Augusta. Ford Motors released the Ford Rheinland. Jessie Owens ties the world record...he was in high school when he did it, #amazing. The Jewish Holocaust started (Tears pour from my eyes as I typed these words.) The Twentieth Amendment is ratified....I can go on and on and on.
