Confidence!!
It’s the third day of the Challenge. Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed. Maybe you still need to write your posts. Perhaps you are now wondering what the heck you signed up for with this Challenge!
Have confidence in your ability to finish.
You can do it!
And C is one of my favorite letters. I wonder why…?
I have a plan in place that will get me through the challenge. But still a bit stuck for X and Y but I'll get there in the end...
ReplyDeleteIt is alot of fun though and I am having a great time browsing through everyone's blogs and finding some great posts and themes :)
SHould my posts be done already? Cause i did gave a few down before hand but i'm going to need to write them still
ReplyDeleteso far so good only 23 more letters
ReplyDeleteI;m enjoying every minute of the challenge Alex.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit, you asked if I still have the old record? well Alex due to moving all my music is on Ipods as I had nowhere to put the records they went to charity shops.
Yvonne.
I'm beginning to realize that commenting & checking out new blogs is a pretty big part of this challenge.
ReplyDeleteI feel the need to come up with a schdule for this as it could get overwhelming. Enjoying the creativity, though.
C is also for Challenge! Yes, I'm wondering what I signed up for, but I've made a Commitment, and I'm determined to Cultivate my writing skills, increase my Concentration, and Consider it joy to meet the task.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Definitely one of the big things this challenge has taught me thus far: BLOG AHEAD. Haha.:)
ReplyDeleteConfidence is key! I'm overwhelmed with the commenting. I don't think I'll get to all the participants. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteY and Z have me spinning my tires but the biggest challenge for me is getting around to reading.
ReplyDeleteMy "C" is for coffee, lots of coffee... but wait that is normal to have it, so I will switch it to Confidence!! Feels good!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this challenge so much but only have posts planned until Thursday, so feeling a little nervous now!
ReplyDeleteEverybody seems to be doing a great job so far! I've found so many amazing blogs already!
Nikki – inspire nordic
Add a little coffee to that confidence and I'm in it.
ReplyDeleteT
Thanks for the boost!
ReplyDelete*So far so good, though I should have prepared more posts ahead of time. I have a general idea for each letter, but none are written in advance. I'm loving the variety of themes I'm seeing in other's posts. It's amazing the number of ideas one can generate from any one letter. I've probably visited over 100 blogs in the last three days. Not sure I can keep up that pace but I'm enjoying the adrenalin rush while it lasts!
ReplyDeleteHi Alex ..confidence features everywhere for us bloggers at whatever level we're at .. non-authors and authors ..
ReplyDeleteWe can do our dreams and goals .. and the A - Z challenge ..
C for Cheers - Hilary
Thanks for the boost of CONFIDENCE captain !! We sure do need it!
ReplyDeleteYou are a 'Confidence Builder and Confidant'...thanks for the encouragement. So far I'm good to go, but will bookmark this 'Letter C' for later on...as in my theme...AtoZ My Family Tree...I have no clue who Z will be....Sue
ReplyDeleteMike, if you don't, no worries!
ReplyDeleteSorry you don't have the record anymore, Yvonne.
J, well said!
Dawn, just do the best you can.
Happy "C" Day!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the vote of Confidence!

Too bad C didn't correspond with IWSG day, huh?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement. I am trying to just be relaxed about this and have fun. That is the purpose, right? I have set no goals as to how many other blogs I will visit. I have been doing that randomly and it has been like a treasure hunt. Quite fun. I split that visiting time between some bloggers I already know and each day add two or three that I don't.
ReplyDeleteThis is turning out to be really easy :D
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying this year even more than last because I'm more prepared. Preparation gives a sense of (False?) confidence.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your work and commenting!
I was wondering why I was removed from the linky list. I was looking for my name to visit those around me but it seems my link was removed and I've been participating. Just wondering?
ReplyDeleteI love the challenge! I am traveling this week so I preloaded some posts ~ very savvy and confidence building ~ I'm enjoying commenting from my phone as much as I can & am looking forward to getting home and soaking up all these great posts and people!!

I have posts unti G and have ideas for most but x and j are difficult but I'm sure with Confidence I'll get through.
ReplyDeleteAck! Excuse me, my link is on the list. It is just several numbers below where I thought it was. My apologies! Since these comments haven't gone live, please delete them!
ReplyDeleteI still have 23 more posts to write! AHHHHHHH! I cannot do this again next year!
ReplyDeleteEat Live Move: Intuitive Eating from A to Z
C is for Claire yay! Confidently not written all her posts yet but is at least half way through so probably has false confidence!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement to conquor the challenge!
ReplyDeleteHaving finished the darn thing twice and blabbing about this one for the past 6 months, I know I can do it. Coffee in the morning and candy at night.

Yes, we can do it! I did last year, so I will this year too...I hope...I think...I'm SURE :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, we all need to have confidence...we can and will do this...great post...
ReplyDeleteNice! I am confidently overwhelmed. Does that count? Actually it's all good. All posts written and scheduled so I get to spend my time visiting and responding to comments :)
ReplyDeletegreat post! I am being brave and doing the challenge on TWO blogs! Ha! That should use some of my brain muscles.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is on motherhood and everyday life, and the second one is all about travel.
Should be fun! thanks for the great encouragement. :)
best,
MOV
So many good C words...can you say 'Julie Andrews?' I always think of her singing that song when I hear the word confidence...good post!
ReplyDeletedone with the hardest three...
ReplyDeleteit is all down hill from here...
power of positive thinking!
Signing up for the challenge was the toughest part, now it's smooth sailing :) Once the creative juices start flowing, there is no stopping them. Great post.
ReplyDeleteMy C stands for Creative

Hey Arlee I really wanted to participate this year bit my bidy refuses to cooperate. I think its the baby due in the next two weeks that doing the damage. I'll be visiting signed up bloggers instead in the time I get to enough energy. I think that might be more productive. :(
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I'm confident of is that this challenge will kill me. Can I just skip letters D - F? and H-J and maybe L-Z?
ReplyDeleteIndeed, "C is for Confidence!", complete with the exclamation mark for dramatic impact!
ReplyDeleteAnd 'Considering' I keep leaving my highly sought after, much loved comments on here, I have every 'Confidence' that you will kindly reciprocate by leaving a comment on my satire alternative posting to your um alphabet challenge :)
Take care Alex, have fun with it all and thanks again for continuing to embrace my alternative in the good spirit intended.
With respect and happy writing, your way, Gary
I'm doing mine in blocks of 3 - allowing me loads of time to comment! Really enjoying the challenge and discipline!

ReplyDeleteThank you. I think I can do it. I just can't promise I will get other things done that I need to do.
ReplyDeleteUgh. Linky won't load.
ReplyDeleteI will have confidence that it will behave itself and let me see who to visit next.
@ Donna K Weaver
ReplyDeleteSo it's not just me who can't see the linky list?
Good - but it does mean I'm going to be behind in my daily blog visitation.
Maybe it was overwhelmed by our confidence!

I was going to blog about critique groups today and ended up blogging about an overheard Conversation instead!
ReplyDeleteI'm wining it, but expect some ot the letters will be harder than others to blog abog. I'm enjoying the challenge, thanks for the opportunity.
If I hadn't already chosen my theme, researched the material, written the blog posts, and uploaded them to my blog, I don't think my confidence level would be very high.
ReplyDeleteConfidence does keep me writing.

Yes that is what I need. Thanks for the pep talk!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pep talk. I'm pretty confident Ic an do this, if I write the posts at night, so that I simply have to make them live in the morning when my brain is still asleep!
ReplyDeleteDay 3 on schedule! :) Thanks for the pep talk!
ReplyDeleteMy Day 3: Cloak-clad visitor
Yep, still have to write all my posts. Thanks for the encouragement!
ReplyDeleteI'm hanging in there so far, but it's only the third day. :)
ReplyDeleteSo far so good. And having a really good response to my new photography blog. Head on over if you would like to boost my deflated ego :)

Where do I post? Where do browse? Where do I commend? Where do I see posted comments. This is getting overwhelming and I think I must be doing something very wrong with the mechanics. Can you help
ReplyDeleteYep, I still have posts to finish for the second half of the alphabet but I am confident in my ability to finish the challenge. How confident? Well, in the last two days, I've spent $9 to use a computer at a library, since I'm out of town and do not have a computer nor internet access.
ReplyDeleteWhen I had some trouble getting help from the library staff, I started looking around for someone -- anyone with a laptop and WiFi, just in case I had to end up paying a stranger a few bucks in order to complete my A to Z Challenge tasks for the day.
By the way, I love how the A to Z co-hosts are leading by example for one of the tips on blogging short posts.
Cheers!

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm glad I got most of this week's psots ready at any rate!
ReplyDeleteFrustrated at not being able to comments on so many blogspot blogs as there's no option for Name/URL identity.
So many lovely places to go, but not even leaving a footprint :(
MY C is Cross. The Cross un which hung our saviour
ReplyDeleteYup - reading and commenting is just as important as contributing. My eyes are going square!
ReplyDeleteAm trying to get my posts written in advance if poss - and am doing OK so far I think.
Thanks for the great tips - and there're some great blogs out there in the blogasphere

I'm relieved since all my posts are written and ready to go! Phew!
ReplyDeleteI'm just trying to make sure I stay a few days ahead. That's the best I can do for now! But I'll make it!
ReplyDeleteI think XYZ will be tricky for me...but I'm ok for this week...
ReplyDeleteyeah thanks for the encouragement and i have to admit although it is fun and i am enjoying getting comments--esp. since i rarely get them---it is kinda consuming me---but i think i will make it:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words, the photo in the A post reminds me of the Orient express which passes my home two times a week on it's way from singapore up to thailand, It's so grand to see the people on the open carriage enjoying themselves.
ReplyDeleteOne day i'll treat myself to a trip.
Good luck with the A-z challenge, nice to meet you also Karen
regards John
Wow thanks for the pep-talk there's no such thing as having to much confidence is there? Having so much fun with this challenge...thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing pretty good with confidence since I have all of my posts scheduled and I've got time to read others! :)
ReplyDeleteAfter completing this Challenge last year I AM confident I can do it again.
ReplyDeleteI have the confidence. I am more concerned if I am going to have the time.
ReplyDeleteI think I can......
I am having fun with it. I seem to be writing the the posts at the last minute, but that is because I started new term of school at the same time. i still not sure how to schedule posts.
ReplyDeleteConfidence is a necessity for any challenge!
ReplyDeleteI am confident I can complete as I am positively in love with the Dictionary of Newfoundland English.
ReplyDeleteA great opportunity!

I am confident that my plan will see me through...if I can just NOT skip around. I so want to write my "z" post but I'm only up to "i". LOL!
ReplyDeleteSo far confidence has grown. I hope it stays that way.
ReplyDeleteI'm hanging in there and doing this organically as my days unfold. Hoping to make it through the whole month even though the last week will be very difficult. I'll see what I can do.
ReplyDeleteI am determined to make it to the end. We'll see how beat up my confidence is then. *grin*
ReplyDeleteA long day at work yesterday means I'm a day behind on my postings, but I'm going to get through it. I'm confident that I will :)

Having all 26 posts prepared before the start of the challenge fills me with confidence! It's just getting round to all the other blogs which is the hard part!
ReplyDeleteThis is me, Duncan D. Horne, visiting you from the A-Z challenge, wishing you all the best throughout April and beyond.

I'm just about keeping a day ahead of my A-Z posts at the moment. But I had planned to do enough posts to have most of next week off blogging, do some posts on my craft and faith blogs and read the whole of the NT this week- all of which I'm falling behind in. Oh well, I just keep reminding myself that I do this for FUN!
ReplyDeleteA great word for the day!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited about this challenge so I am looking forward to seeing how well I do on it!
